How does it work?
It's a traditional discount gift card that's loadable via the internet, or calling our office and using your credit card or ATM/debit card to send money specifically for health care for your family. The OFW (loader) accesses our website at www.healthcashcard.com or www.pfhdp.com, and fills out the form that tells us who will receive the card. The loader then decides how much to load on the card. You can load as much as $200 each time! After deciding how much to load, the OFW/loader then clicks submit. It's that easy! Our office in metro Manila will receive immediate notification and a discount card in the name of the recipient will be issued and delivered, with the requested cash value assigned to the card. Your loved one can then go to any of our accredited providers and receive discounted services and the fees are taken off the card. There is no out of pocket money from your loved one!
What if I don't have a credit card?
We understand that not everyone has a credit card or debit card. That's why we have made several options available to you. All you have to do is call our office or email us at info.healthcashcard.com. You may wire the money to our account at Bank of the Philippine Islands in the name of Philippine Family Health and Dental Plan, Inc., account number 0361016084 . But contact us first. Our friendly staff will walk you through the process and insure that everything goes smoothly. You may also send the money via Western Union or other wire transfer mechanisms to the Philippine Family Health and Dental Plan, Inc.
So why put money on the card when I can just send the cash to my family directly?
We want you to continue to provide the assistance you provide. However, we believe by putting some money on the healthcashcard you insure that your hard earned money is spent on what is truly necessary, GOOD QUALITY HEALTH CARE! We believe the reason you made the sacrifice to leave was to improve your loved ones quality of life. This helps to do just that! In addition, you are able to log on to your account and know every time the card is used, and for what purpose.
How often can I load the card?
You may load the card as many times as you like. The card is valid for a year. We will notify you thirty days before the expiration date and you may elect to renew the card at anytime before expiration.
How much can I load?
You may load as much as $200 per transaction. However, in special circumstances such as urgencies or emergencies, you may elect to use our EXPRESS LOAD. By using the express load feature, you family member does not have to have the card to receive benefits. Our office will coordinate appointments, and payments with the provider. In addition, by contacting our office via text, email, or telephone, you may load as much as $5000 for special circumstances. Simply contact us, and we will walk you through the process.
Who is eligible to receive the card?
All members of the immediate family up to six are eligible to receive the card (family membership). The family membership is $40. If your family exceeds six, then additional cards will have to be purchased. Even though you may be overseas, you should include yourself as a member for when you return home so that you may avail of the benefits as well. The money on the card must be used before the expiration unless the card is renewed. Renewal of the Family Membership is $35. You may also elect to have the fee for the renewal debited from the gift card at that time.
How much is it?
The individual card is $8. The Family Membership is $40. You may elect to use the card only as a discount card or you may load it with cash. If you decide to load the card, a small loading fee will be charged (see loading fees). In addition, each time the card is used at a provider office a small transaction fee of ten pesos will be debited from the card, similar to a credit/debit card. If it is used as a discount card only, then the holder is obliged to pay the providers discounted at the time services are rendered.
Is Healthcashcard an insurance and/or HMO company?
The PFHDP's Healthcashcard is a not an insurance or HMO card. It is discount gift card that provides saving solutions for individuals & families of the Philippines. Our aim is to minimize your "out-of-pocket" expenses for your healthcare products & services. This program offers significant savings on healthcare needs such as medical consultations, hospitalization, dental procedures, vision care, chiropractic, alternative medicine services, hearing services, fitness, spas and much more. The discount fees are honored at participating healthcare providers.
How much is the plan and how do I get it?
The price of the membership is PhP360 per year with one-time application fee of PhP60 pesos. The Plan costs PhP420 for principal only. Up to 6 members of the family can have membership for only PhP240 per year per person. The annual renewal will not include a processing fee. How do I save money?
When become a member, we will send you a healthcashcard via mail. As soon as you receive the cards, they are activated and ready to use. Then you locate a participating providers of your choice in your local area and present the card at the point of service. At the time of service, you will receive our negotiated price for services rendered and you will pay the discounted price. Keep in mind, in order to get the discount, you must present your card at participating network providers.

When can I start using my benefits?
After purchasing the plan, it takes 5-7 working days to activate and mail your healthcashcard discount card. The card is delivered "locked" to insure it is not used by someone unintended. As soon as the card is deliverd, our office must be texted or called, or emailed with the correct password or identifying information. We will then unlock the card and it is now ready to use. All you have to do is present the card at any of our participating provider locations and start your savings!
How do I locate a participating provider in the network?

Is there a maximum use of the benefits?
No, Unlike insurance, utilization is encouraged because it directs traffic to participating provider locations. You and your family may use the benefits as many times as needed throughout the membership year. There are no limitations on usage
Is there a deductible?
No. This program is not insurance. As such, there are no deductibles, no waiting periods, no pre-existing condition exclusions, reimbursements, etc. Everyone qualifies and a physical is not required to purchase the card.
Is there a claim form to fill out?
No. There are no claim forms or other paperwork to file. You receive your discount at the time of service and you must pay the provider the discounted amount in full at the time services are rendered.
